We’re a one stop shop for upcycled food businesses in Ontario.
We partner with Ontario based businesses to divert viable leftover foods such as:
- barley already used to make beer (aka spent grains),
- juice pulp,
- rescued fruit and produce considered too ugly to sell
When food ends up in a landfill, it creates methane–a greenhouse gas 25 times more potent than carbon dioxide. In fact, if global food waste were measured as a country, it would be the world’s third-worst emitter of greenhouse gases.
We can break this cycle by diverting and upcycling spent food into new jams, soups, bread, pretzels, cookies, crackers, etc, while empowering consumers to do something more about the climate crisis.

Our dough to door delivery
You can pickup from participating local retail partners, Toronto based Farmer’s markets, and/or have your food delivered to your Ontario based home or office:
- Pickup / Delivery – product baked earlier that morning and delivered same day
- Recommend you freeze what you can’t consume in next 2 days
I have been a customer for a few years now, and yes, I first found you through my daughter at the Brickworks Farmers Market. Not only are your products super delicious they are good for the planet as well. My daughter has a sunflower (including oil) allergy and your baked goods are some of the few that she can eat.
I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate everything you do and I love the philosophy behind your company.
All the best for 2024!

How? By sourcing local products that incorporate upcycled or ‘spent’ ingredients – viable foods like imperfect produce, ugly fruits, and barley used by craft breweries to make beer are typically discarded.

We curate products that are healthier by prioritizing:
- Whole grains
- High fibre (from leftover juice pulp and barley)
- Use processes such as natural leavening to reduce use of commercial starters, additives and preservatives to ensure optimal flavour
