If looking for a sourdough with small-medium sized air pockets so that food doesn’t fall through once sliced, this (slightly denser than our country sourdough) is the one for you.

Our 48-hour, 100% naturally-leavened process enhances flavour and nutritional value, promotes digestion, and increases shelf life.  But our uniqueness comes from incorporating barley grains that have already been used to make beer.

By choosing  upcycled foods, you are directly helping to reduce greenhouse gases.

100% grains from Canada using traditional stone milling techniques to preserve the integrity and unique character of the grain.

  • 100% Vegan (no eggs, no dairy)
  • 100% Halal (we recover the barley before yeast is added that converts it into beer)
  • NO preservatives or additives
  • 25% Whole grains (BTW we use a lighter in colour organic whole wheat flour!)
  • NO commercial yeast and naturally leavened = better for gut health (lower gluten, less glycemic response)

Shelf life:  4 days at room temperature and in a bag, 3 months if frozen
